Building Hope One House At a Time

You are invited to take part in a life-changing, people-to-people campaign making a difference in a family's life this summer. Today there are families sleeping in dilapidated homes, walls covered in mold and roofs falling in on them. Some have no electricity or running water!

Angela needs your help to build her new home which will change her life forever! Please join us in this 2000 Shares Campaign to help make these families' dream come true, one house at a time!

Action 1
Habitat for Humanity Braga is selling "Shares of love and support" at $20/Share. To "own" a piece of one of these homes, you can give one or more Shares by mail, phone or on-line using a credit card. Please, be sure to use the code number on the flyer or to designate "Portugal" on your gift.

When you give a Share, you'll know, just as it takes one brick at a time to build the walls, each Share will combine with a thousand other to finish these houses...and 100 percent of your gift will support HfH Braga. You will also receive a tax-deductible receipt, a certificate suitable for framing and a thank you note. And finally, with your okay, we will keep you informed of our progress.

How it Works
The 2000 Shares Campaign is a grassroots, voluntary fundraising campaign. A campaign is run by a volunteer Campaign Networker or by a group of volunteers accepting the campaign challenge of "selling" 2000 Shares. Each successful campaign of 2000 shares will raise US$40,000 towards two houses in the Palmeira section of Braga. Volunteers hand out flyers to friends, family, colleagues and even strangers. Everyone can support the 2000 Shares Campaign by buying shares and asking others to help too.
